Day 10: #BeBrave of the #LiveOutLoudEveryday Challenge:
“You can’t be brave if you’ve only had wonderful things happen to you,” – Mary Tyler Moore
With life’s ups and downs, holding the intention of being brave can be the upside of one of the valleys. Stepping into what it’s like to be brave can give you the movement you need to start moving forward. It can inspire you to try a new way – it can invite you to live out loud.
What does Be Brave mean to you? I like to be brave can encompass so much. It can be saying no to something you don’t want to do and are afraid of hurting someone’s feelings. It can be saying yes to something you’ve dreamed of that makes your knees shake. It can be showing up EXACTLY AS YOU ARE and speaking up. It can be doing something that scares you. It can be all of that and more.
For me, being brave has a lot to do with trust – trusting my heart and that the universe will support me. Instead of staying comfortable in my life as it is right now, I am taking the steps to set up life the way I want to live it. It is SCARY and EXCITING – and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I want to encourage you to be brave today – break free from habits that don’t serve you and leave your comfort zone. It could even be as simple as initiating a conversation with someone you would like to talk to. Put the intention out there to be brave today and take a photo of being brave today, tag @inspiredbymovement #BeBrave #LiveOutLoudEveryday.
